MIAMI — Latin pop star Enrique Iglesias sold his Miami homestead last week, but he’d not going anywhere.

The 38-year-old singer of Hero and Tonight (I’m Loving You) moved into a giant new place just up the street in the fancy Bay Point community, just north of downtown, Gossip Extra has learned exclusively.

Price tag of the new house, at 4535 Sabal Palm Road: slightly more than $26 million!

Miami-Dade County records show Iglesias grabbed two waterfront lots with sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline in 2009 for a total $5 million.

He and galpal Anna Kournikova then had a crib believed to be close to 20,000 square feet of sheer luxury built on the property, after the two existing houses were leveled.

“Enrique grew up in Bay Point,” said Esther Percal, his Realtor. “So when we looked for his new place, he kept coming back to Bay Point.”

Meanwhile, the high-profile lawyer who bought Iglesias’ old place for $6.7 million Wednesday described his dealings with Iglesias as “wonderful.”

“We had a number of meetings with Enrique and Anna,” said Stephen N. Zack, administrative partner in the firm of Boeis, Schiller & Flexner and a recent President Barack Obama nominee to the United Nations. “They’re very pleasant. And I know he left all his good vibes in the house.”

He never ever wanted to sell that house. I guess he was forced to because he needs the money desperately for that other house or for some other reason.

Does the guy writing he sold the house on heroin? Something is very, very wrong with you. The entire Enrique Englasias machine is exceptionally well coordinated. It is you that is off, sir.
