Palm Beach nightlife promoter and entrepreneur Gus Renny was arrested on the suspicion he violated the terms of his probation!
He’s out on $1,000-bond after the May 22 arrest by court deputies during a hearing in West Palm Beach.
Renny, an ex-part owner of the now defunct 251 Palm Beach and West Palm Beach’s Grease Burger Bar, pleaded guilty in February to violating an order of protection obtained by a girlfriend who accused him of harassing her.
At the time Renny, 36, was placed on probation for one year and ordered to undergo domestic violence counseling.
But a judge ordered him arrested during a court hearing Wednesday after finding out that Renny contacted the ex he was ordered to stay away from.
Renny’s current trouble stem from claims made last year by 34-year-old Realtor Lorie Geoffrey.
She told cops that Renny threatened to ruin her career if he ever found her in Palm Beach or with another man, or both.
At one point, he tossed her cell phone from his 11th-floor apartment, and stalked her through text messages and emails.
