Injured New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez reportedly sold his palatial Miami Beach house for $30 million — a whopping $15 million-profit.
Although the transaction hasn’t appeared in public records yet, word in the real estate world is that Rodriguez needs to clear out his belongings from the breathtaking contemporary house within the next two weeks.
The buyer is said to be a Palm Beach resident.
According to Miami-Dade County records, Rodriguez bought the property in May 2010 for $7.4 million.
He poured in another $7.6 million over the next year to rebuild most of it.
Records show the two-story house, at 4358 North Bay Road, has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms spread over 21,700-square feet.
Among the features: There’s a fully functional indoor batting cage!
Taxation authorities value the property at just over $10 million, with a yearly levy of $225,000.
Area residents include Miami Heat stars Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade about 20 blocks north.
Rodriguez originally put the house up for sale for $38 million in August but pulled it off the market in January.
