Pop royalty met British royalty in London the other night, and it all turned into one big, awkward moment!
Part-time Miami Beach resident Beyonce‘s world tour passed through the capital city’s O2 Arena, where the Queen B tried to pick front row fans to sing along with her on her hit Irreplaceable.
But when the star pointed her microphone in one young fan’s face to sing the word ”to the left/to the left,” Mrs. Carter had no idea she picked Princess Eugenie, sixth in line to the throne and daughter of the once infamous Sarah Ferguson.
And the young woman dared shake off Beyonce’s microphone!
According to London’s Daily Mirror, Jay Z‘s missus didn’t recognized the princess (not that she should’ve!), who ducked her head in embarrassment and tried to hide — leaving Beyonce alone to sing the words.
Eugenie, 23, one of Queen Elizabeth‘s granddaughters, is said to have captured the scene on her iPhone, but it’s unlikely that her video will end up online.
