If you think the Dan Marino affair is the only NFL sex scandal involving a South Florida NFL personality, think again!

Gossip Extra reported yesterday, the former Dolphins quarterback fathered a child with Donna Savattere. The pair agreed to keep it quiet to protect both parties, but Marino takes full personal and financial responsibility for the kid.

Even though news of the superstar quarterback’s 7-year-old love child just recently broke, Marino should be happy to know that he is in good company.

Former New York Giants linebacker has had his share of run-ins with the law. But the big uh-oh for Florida-based Lawrence Taylor was his arrest in 2010 for having sex with a 16 year-old girl.

The little affair may not have resulted in a daughter like Marino’s did, but Taylor is registered FOR LIFE as a low-risk level one sex offender!

Michael Irvin is another footballer who made some plays off the field! The former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. He also was involved in a sexual assault case at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL in ’07.

And let’s not forget New York Jets quarterback Joe Namath, who currently resides in Tequesta, FL. We saved the best…well, the funniest for last.

Namath’s drinking problem became a whole lot more public after he pulled a sideline reporter, Suzy Kolber, over to him during a Jets game in ’03 and said “I wanna kiss you…YEAH!!!.” Shortly after that very public stunt, Namath enrolled in a rehab program.
