Enrique, Celebs Descend on Bal Harbour For Charity, Shopping

The Bal Harbour Shops see their fair share of celebs.

But the concentration of famous faces at the luxury-shopping mall shot up over the weekend for the shop/dine/do-good fundraiser for the Buoniconti Fund.

Latin crooner Enrique Iglesias performed a private concert, with fans dancing on the stage.

Miami Heat President Pat Riley brought his missus, and let her wear one of his two NBA championship rings with the Heat.

CSI: Miami actor Rex Linn, True Blood heartthrob Joe Manganiello and Gossip Girl‘s Matthew Settle were mingling with TV fans.

Former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw talked of civic duty while emceeing.

And the Wellington polo contingent turned heads: Men in Black star Tommy Lee Jones was actually nice to fans; and pretty pony-riding personality Nacho Figueras showed off his very pregnant wife Delfina.

And after a few hours Saturday night, the 2,000-plus swells who browsed in the fashion stores, watched a runway show, swung to Iglesias’ tunes and dined in the famous mall’s courtyard helped raise a whopping $31 million for the Fund!

The fund was started by NFL Hall of Famer and ex-Miami Dolphins star Nick Buoniconti after his son, Marc, became paralyzed during a college football game. Events like Saturday’s  have raised $93 million for spinal cord research since 1985.
