Devil's Night 2012 in West Palm Beach

Devil’s Night at the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, a West Palm Beach Halloween tradition for more than 10 years, went out with a bang last night!

The Gentlemen of The Garden’s yearly costumed wingding took place a day late, courtesy of Hurricane Sandy, but more than 500 revelers took advantage of the open bar and live band until the wee hours — for the last time ever, if you believe organizers.

As usual, the outfits were inspired by the news.

Showing how low Tour de France racer Lance Armstrong‘s reputation had fallen, Nevin Bauman showed up in a pro bicyclist’s outfit – with syringes sticking out of his arms.

Antiques and jewelry dealer owner Scott Diament wore a fine Roman soldier’s outfit, which was ignored because galpal Teresa Muoio wore little more than paint on her fine, fine body!

In the end, however, the judges of the costume contest were swayed by creativity: Dack Patriarca and longtime galpal Hilary Jordan won the grand prize as a truer-than-Hollywood Edward Scissorhands and topiary.

Organizer Kevin Clark, meanwhile, said there’s a chance the popular party may get a new life with another non-profit.

He reported receiving purchase offers for the extensive equipment (electronic ghouls, robotic bats and monsters) he built over the years.

Stay tuned . . .
