Rocker Annie Lennox Weds Fla Woman’s Cheating Ex!

Scottish rocker Annie Lennox got hitched in London over the weekend, the ex-wife of Lennox’s new husband has told friends.

It’s Lennox’s third attempt at marital bliss — and a Florida woman’s marriage became the collateral damage of this romance!

U.S. AIDS charity boss Mitch Besser, betrothed of the singer of Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), allegedly cheated on his previous wife with Lennox!

And Gossip Extra first reported exclusively in March that a settlement signed in a Palm Beach County divorce court cleared the way for the ex-Eurythmics frontwoman’s wedding.

Debra Jackson, gynecologist Besser’s ex-wife, quietly filed for divorce here last year after photos of her husband with Lennox popped up in British tabloids.

According to the court file, Jackson received the couple’s homes in DeBary, just north of Orlando, and in Cape Town, South Africa, as marital settlement.

Debra Jackson told friends Besser and Lennox were married before about 150 family and friends gathered on a boat cruising the Thames.

Lennox has yet to announce officially the nuptials.

Besser started the South Africa-based AIDS charity Mothers2Mothers, which focuses on education for pregnant mothers as a way to stop the spread of AIDS.
