Former Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson just tweeted this photo of himself with a barely visible new tat of Evelyn Lozada’s face on his right leg (via Twitter)
A contrite Chad Johnson talked about his current situation on last night’s season finale of HBO’s Hard Knocks: Training Camp With The Miami Dolphins, saying that he lost two of the things he loves most — football and Evelyn Lozada, his new wife.
And he says he’s working hard to get them both back.
The 2-min-40 segment squeezed between the drama of the Fins losing losing again in pre-season and the last players getting cut featured the wide receiver formerly known as Ochocinco working up a sweat with a personal training on a beach, practice field and boxing rink. That’s for the football part.
For the wife? He had her fact tattooed on his right calf!
“I made my bed, I’ll lay in it,” the 34-year-old Johnson says, adding that he thinks he’s got five years of football left in him. “Somewhere along the way, I lost focus.”

Johnson is due back in a Broward County court next week to be arraigned on a misdemeanor battery charge. He is accused of head-butting reality TV star Lozada during an argument. The Fins cut him hours after his August 11 arrest and Lozada filed for divorce two days later.
Here’s his appearance on the Hard Knocks finale, and his first interview since the Lozada incident:
