The sister of University of Florida Olympic hero Ryan Lochte deserves a gold medal for stupidity.

Footage from a talk show in which Megan Lochte discussed accompanying her swimming champ brother to the Beijing Olympics in 2008 recently surfaced, and it makes Ryan’s older sister look like, well, a Florida cracker!

In saying that China’s full of “chinks” and “chinked out,” Megan Lochte clearly embarrassed politically incorrect host and comedian Mickey Cucchiella, whose program aired in Baltimore.

Undeterred, Megan also touched on every stereotype from eating dogs, inept driving to the Great Wall.

Ryan, whose five London medals and good looks have made into one of today’s most marketable athletes, has been silent on the controversy,

But Megan apologized, claiming her appearance was part of a scripted skit that aimed at making fun of racism.

“This was not a real interview, and it in no way reflects my true feelings or persona whatsoever,” Lochte told the tabloid Us Weekly in a statement.

“The intent was to make fun of the ignorance of people who actually do not have an understanding of other cultures and speak in racist ways.

Really, Megan?

    Jose, don’t lump us crackers in with that family. At least we know when to keep quiet! Those pictures look like a couple drunks. Guess he’s getting his 15 mins.
