The Miami Heat‘s road to a repeat just got tougher!

The Orlando Magic just traded superstar Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he joints Kobe Bryant!

The trade makes it likely that the now-stacked up Lakers could find themselves in the 2013 NBA Finals, probably against the world champions Heat.

The complicated trade also involved the Denver Nuggets and Philadelphia 76ers.

What do the Magic get? Nobody you’d care about!

Howard had been squawking about leaving Central Florida since January and gets his wish after a courtship with rapper Jay Z‘s Brooklyn Nets. Howard made it clear he wasn’t happy with former Orlando head coach Stan Van Gundy, who was eventually canned.
