Sofia Vergara, Kim Kardashian: TV Stars With South Florida Ties Are Top Earners!

Four women with ties to South Florida are among the top 10 highest-paid TV actresses, according to Forbes.

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara, a longtime Miami resident, is now the No. 1 earner on U.S. television!

The financial magazine’s website estimated that the Colombia native made a whopping $19 million over the past 12 months, mostly from the ABC sitcom.

The 40-year-old Vergara, who is (or not) engaged to marry Delray Beach millionaire Nick Loeb, beat out Kim Kardashian of all people.

Kim, who owns a clothing store in Miami Beach, fell from the No. 1 spot but is believed to have taken in as much as $18 million from E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, her clothing line and endorsements.

Desperate Housewives alum Eva Longoria, meanwhile, came in third with $15 million over the past 12 months, according to Forbes.

Helping her pay her bills: Longoria’s role in the final season of the show plus endorsements and revenues from the sales of a cookbook (Can you believe it?). Longoria, too, is a permanent fixture in Miami Beach and involved with local charities.

Rounding up the top 10 is Khloe Kardashian, Kim’s chubby sister and the wife of NBA star Lamar Odom. Khloe, who starred with a third sister Kourtney in Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, made a “mere” $11 million.

      Actually, Paula, reality TV is so scripted these days that many characters like Ms. Kardashian are consider actresses.
      As far as the rainfall of bodily fluids, trust me when I tell you it takes an top-flight actress to pretend to like it!
