Bill Maher Takes on Allen West on Ape Comment

Liberal comedian Bill Maher took on U.S. Rep. Allen West on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher late last night.

Maher objected to Tea Party fave West using his name in letters soliciting campaign donations.

Fresh Palm Beach Gardens resident West, who’s running for a district that cover the north side of Palm Beach County, plus Martin and St. Lucie counties, claims in his literature that Maher called him an ape.

It’s not ape that Maher called West, it’s “total nut.”
