A laborer involved in the construction of the North Palm Beach mansion of Tiger Woods’ ex-wife was seriously injured in a fall.
A Palm Beach County Fire Rescue ambulance operator tells Gossip Extra that the man fell from a ladder about 15 feet onto the concrete that eventually will become the floor inside Elin Nordegren’s home.
The 9 a.m. incident occurred in the swanky Seminole Landing, the North Palm Beach neighborhood in which Nordegren bought a historic mansion for $12.2 million then had it leveled to rebuild something similar.
When rescue crews found the injured worker at 12520 Seminole Beach Road, he was bleeding from his head and mouth but was responsive.
He was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
The source tells me the man, who wasn’t identified and appears to be in his 40s, will be kept overnight for observation but should survived and soon be back at work.
The foundation of the new, 31,000-square-foot house has appeared, and walls started springing from the sand on the oceanfront property.
The Jupiter-based Onshore Construction & Development is the contractor but all workers have signed confidentiality agreements with Nordegren, who is believe to have made $100 million in her divorce from the golfer.
