Lamar Odom to The Heat? He Already Lives Here!

There are many basketball reasons why the world champions Miami Heat are said to be interested in luring free agent Lamar Odom back to South Florida, and why Odom could be chomping at bits at the prospect.

There are marketing reasons: Odom is married to reality TV veteran Khloe Kardashian and they have a show together, Khloe & Lamar.

Getting this tallhead in a Heat uniform would only add more flash to the Heat’s money-driven circus.

Then, there’s this $2.9 million-reason: Odom owns an amazing mansion on SW 63rd Court in the swanky Village of Pinecrest, 30 minutes from the Heat’s home court.

According to records, Odom bought the 8,500-square-foot house in 2003, just months after his trade from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Heat.

He was sent to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2004 in another deal that brought Shaquille O’Neal to the Heat.

Odom’s five-room, seven-bath crib has been mostly empty since, except during some of Khloe’s forays into South Florida, including the 2009 E! series Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami.

And looking at the photos, there’s plenty of room in there for the family to grow . . .
