Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade‘s ex-wife, was  thrown in the slammer over the weekend after allegedly attempting to abduct their two sons.

Wade gained custody of Zaire, 10, and Zion, 4, last year after the couple’s contentious divorce.

A rep for Cook County Sheriff’s Office in Wade’s hometown of Chicago released a statement saying that Siohvaughn was charged with two counts of attempted child abduction, two counts of unlawful visitation interference and one count of resisting arrest.”

Her bond was set at $10,000.

The timing was extraordinary: Wade is smack dab in the middle of the NBA FInals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Wade, an eight-time NBA All-Star, just wrote a book encouraging dads to take a major role in their children’s lives!
