Octomom’s West Palm Saga: I’m Cancelling Strip Shows!

Octomom may not kick off her new career as a stripper in West Palm Beach after all.

Word from the West Coast this morning is that Nadya Suleman, the California single mom of 14 children whose delivery of octuplets in 2009 made worldwide news, is ticked off at T’s Lounge‘s staff for comments made about her made in the local press.

So Suleman, 37, has told T’s people she’s not coming, the owner of the Congress Avenue mammary Mecca tells me.

Whether or not that’s even Suleman’s decision no to appear for three dances per night July 11-15, however, is left to be seen.

“I read and re-read the contract,” said T’s owner Gary Odle, “and the only way she would be allowed not to show up is if she doesn’t get paid. Obviously, that hasn’t happened yet!”

Odle says he’s told that Suleman objected to comments made by Odle’s staffer that she could be swayed to strip fully nude, despite the fact that the contract calls for her to strip off her top.

“When we were in talks, I remember her ending the conversation with a giggle and something to the effect of: ‘You never know!’,” Odle said. “However, we don’t force anyone to do what she doesn’t want to do. She knows that. It’s in the contract.”
