Real Housewives of Miami Caught in Fat Farm Feud

No one’s ever accused any of The Real Housewives of Miami of carrying too much meat on their bones, but diet clinics are at the heart of a lawsuit just filed against two of the Bravo series’ stars.
Marysol Patton, a public relations agency owner, and Alexia Echevarria, a.k.a. the Cuban Barbie, are named in a federal suit filed by Dr. G’s Weight Loss and Wellness Center.

The suit, filed by Miami attorney Robert Einhorn, claims Patton and Echevarria are messing up Dr. G’s business since becoming spokeswomen for rival Dr. Gregg’s Weight Loss Center,
Dr. Gregg’s lawyer, James Gale, is suing right back, claiming that Dr. G’s interfered with their relationship with the Housewives.
Both diet companies claim their names are too close and designed to confuse each other’s clients.
“I don’t know why we’re involved in this,” Patton said. “I’m a publicist. It’s my job to represent clients. Alexia’s just a model. I assume Dr. G’s sued us because our names would bring attention to their lawsuit.”
